To the Rescue

So I have been working on this pic for a long time (relatively). I started it before my Parakeet died way back a month or more ago, then put it on hold as I tried to figure out how to use my new and improved wings in it, and then I had to get a picture of a truck to look at. I try very hard to not look at pictures of anything when drawing my stuff, but I can't make up vehicles to save my life . So I took some photos of my neighbor's truck, and then had to wait until I had some time when I could look at my digital camera and draw it. Then I didn't submit it with the last batch cause I like to post my pics in batches of four (I'm only mildly compulsive >.> <.< )

Alright, this pic is kind of related to a couple pics. It occurs in the book within a chapter of Kiralina's Collapse, and it is chronologically right before the pic How ya goin ta fight now (though not in the book because of clever author-manipulations ).

So Vampire is about to shoved off the bridge(it's a bridge, can ya tell?) to drown in the river by a bunch of disgruntled bouncers. Just before the deed is done, an Angel shows up with Vampire's knife! This is that scene, where he landed on their truck's roof to distract the bouncers for a second. A little (ok a lot) later in the story, we get to hear the whole thing from Michael's point of view, which is where How ya goin ta fight now comes in.

If the explanation is confusing, you had better just go read the story, it explains better. This part is technically in chapter 7. Go read it!

P.S. You can't really see them, but Vampire's wings are folded on her back, being hidden a little by her hair and arms
